“The craftly uncanniness behind the semblance of things” ist ein Tanz, der in der Bildsprache der Dunkelheit als dem
Zustand, in dem das Ego mit der Last seines irdischen Seins und der inneren Entfremdung konfrontiert ist, dem dennoch eine tiefe, geheimnisvolle Kraft innewohnt, dem Willen, in dieser Welt zu existieren und zu handeln. Die Dunkelheit löscht alles, absorbiert alles: Formen und Feuer, Tiere und mich selbst, wie leicht sie das Lebendige vereint! Wie können uns die Schattenseiten, unsere Beziehung zum (Un)Sichtbaren, Momente der Reibung, des inneren  Kampfes und der Isolation als emotional bereichernde und magische Begegnungen dienen und uns dem Leben öffnen?

“Die Frucht des Lebens” von Agama-Dance-Company

The solo performance deals with the most fundamental and existential questions about the present and future of our planet and attempts to provide answers through a new style of movement.
This performance deals with the existential questions of the present: How will the future shape up for us? What changes is nature undergoing? What are the consequences of global warming and how will the earth be transformed?
Inspired by life and with his new dance style “Afro-Somatic”, Kossi is developing a new way of moving his body and letting it speak – for the pain of Mother Earth and the animals. After his collaboration with Steptext Dance Project and the ensemble of Of Curious Nature, the idea for the solo “The Fruit of Life” was born.
